These Earbuds provide awesome sound, you don't have to turn the volume up at all to get full sound. Extremely balanced sound too, bass isn't overwhelming like in sonys but is full and decernable, the mid range is a lot more easy to observe then with less expensive buds, highs are sparkly. I use them with jazz and rock music so you experiences may vary, but I love the sound, my only complaint, there is a bit of problems with the pth modules design (the battery keeps falling out) personally I wish they had fixed that before releasing the unit or released it without it cause it feel poorly constructed compared to the phones. Still an excellent set of phones
