The TV generally looks great and the vast array of adjustments made it easy to calibrate for different lighting and viewing situations. My only complaint is that after a short time it does devlop vertical "banding" (2 inch wide bands of slightly off color picture in vertical lines going down the screen). They are only really visible to discerning viewers and when the majority of the screen is taken up by uniform color such as blue sky or a snowy field. I still recommend it, but beware if you're a real stickler.
