The PL1910m's size at 19in alone is just wonderful to look at. The picture was sharp and the response time was fast for editing and playing my movies on my computer. I also did not have any problems with ghosting on the huge screen for those computer gamer buffs. A big plus was the analog/digital DVI video inputs, which I later used on my up-converge HD DVD player(can you say HDTV). The only thing I did not like was the weak speakers. Other than that why buy a 17in lcd when you can get a 19in around the same price! For those of you who don't know much about Planar. They have been around for more than 20 yrs making monitors for hospital equipment, so you can bet they know a thing or two about Today's LCD monitors.
